Spoon Rocked Despite Acoustics
I was reluctant to go because of the acoustics there, but being a pretty big Lacey Sturm fan I had to go. Despite the fact they couldn't see themselves, Lacey Sturm put together a really solid show on April 1st at the Aragon.
Their concert started pretty simple and slow, like their best albums and songs, and then built throughout. They filled the end of their main set and encore with favorite rockers and had everyone in a frenzy, playing songs from their whole catalog they seemed to please everyone.
The thing keeping this show from being a five star Amazing were the acoustics, that's more the band than the venue. They once again showed their talent by playing "blind" and not missing a beat.
